I came across this website that helps you stop receiving junk mail regarding credit cards and insurance.  I was getting a handful of the “pre-qualified” and “pre-approved” offers and was tired of dealing with recycling and shredding all of it…  That’s when I came across OptOutPreScreen.com.

I was hesitant at first to fill out some random form on a website with my SS#, so I did a quick Google search, and the Federal Trade Commission’s website actually refers people to go there as well, so it’s valid.
