How This Guys Net Worth Went from $-40,000 to $285,000 in Five Years…
I admire this guy…
I thankfully have paid off ALL of my credit cards, and the ONLY debt I have is my student and my truck loan. I am proud of this. It took a couple years of staying focused and I was finally able to pay off those nasty credit card debts I accrued when I was between the ages of 18-23. Good times, but it definitely cost me, and I have learned from my mistakes.
After reading this article it reminds me of how important it is to actually write down your goals and stick with them. It pays off in the end. Instant gratification is out of the picture… it takes time to achieve any goal that’s worth any real value.
I recommend anybody to read the above article and see if it gives you any ideas on helping you with your financial situation. But overall the best rule is, DONT SPEND MORE THEN YOU MAKE. If you cant afford it now, then don’t buy it…
It takes money to make money, so live below your means and SAVE SAVE SAVE.
I can be considered a hypocrite in some ways because I’m a sucker for expensive technology gadgets, name brand clothing, etc, BUT I also have a savings plan and it got me out of debt and now it’s on the path to bringing me extra income. So there are ways to save and get out of debt AND have nice toys, you just have to make wise decisions, make a plan, and then stick with it…
